In March I visited the city Paris, the place where people love to travel for all the amazing places to see and experience with their own eyes. I, as many others, fell in love with the city and what it has to offer.
I have always loved going to museums and when I was a younger girl my grandparents used to take my brother and me to different museums once a year, and I always look forward to that.
So, when I was visiting Paris, I had to see the famous museum, The Louvre.
It was the biggest museum I have ever seen and full of people who wanted to go inside.
We stood in line until we got informed that students from Europe can skip the line and get a free entrance. When we came inside, we grabbed with us a map of the museum, because it was so big and we were not able to see the whole museum in one day, we picked out the attractions we wanted to see the most.
We went to Level 1 at the museum were the art exhibition were, you walked around, and it was photos all over the wall. They separated the paintings from Spain, France and Italy, so you would easily know where the painting originally came from.
You could see witch paintings the museum spent the most time on when it came to exhibitions, or which paintings that were the main attractions. The stair from level 0 to level 1 was full of posters of where you would find Leonardo da Vinci´s famous painting.
I was so excited to see the
painting in real life, so we followed the posters which lead us to the Mona
Lisa exhibition.
I must say, I was a little bit disappointed at the Mona Lisa exhibition.
The painting was centered in a room for itself, the distance between the public and the paintings was 15 feet from the 30-inch-tall painting. It was full of people trying to see the painting and trying to photograph it, but it was impossible.
Marketing the museum provides opportunities for creativity and imagination in expanding the visitors experience through a wide range of activities.
The Museum engages with the public by offering them to rent headphones that will provide them with historical information as they go through the various exhibitions.
You also have the opportunity to have a guided tour and if you want to, you can buy a souvenir from the gift shop as a memory.
What I like about the museum´s website, is that you can see what kind of event or exhibitions that Is coming and secure yourself a ticket.
