The text is very interesting as it is tied up in more than just facts about the company and their products. The author of this text tells the reader a story about their history with Converse, and why it is an important piece for them. The text starts off with a feel-good approach and captures the reader with their storytelling.

When the author tells us about the shoes and why this is a good example of industrial design, it becomes clear that Converse is here to stay. I would like to get more information and fact about the shoes and the company. We get some information that Converse have tried other styles, and their philosophy about the Chuck Taylors, but I would like to get more specific details. That might just be me and my obsession with numbers, but it makes it easier to calculate and understand the different arguments, but this is just my personal opinion.

The text is written in a good language which makes it easy for the reader to understand. Some of the sentences might be a bit longer than others, but it does not ruin the text in any way but is something to keep in mind. Industrial design is mentioned once but never explained. The reader might not have that much knowledge about this topic so it could be a good idea to explain what industrial design really is, and why Converse does a great job in this exact topic.

I like the way you angled your text and focused both on the company and your personal opinion and experiences with the company and their products. You make a good point in combining facts with history, and how Converse has shaped their way into the history books. You also make a good point in how Converse has a loyal customer base, and people who buys Converse, often has at least one pair at a time in their closet.

To conclude with I would like to say that your text is well written, and easy to read as it is interesting and not just boring facts and statements about the company. You have angled your text in a way which makes it both interesting and also educational for the reader, which in return makes the facts easier to remember. Again, I would personally like some more numbers and statistics but that is not for everyone. All in all, the text was exciting and educational, good work!
